Purple Hair...Do Care

When Kenzie was about 7mos old I dyed part of my hair light purple.

You see, I have dyed my hair every color under the sun since HS. But I hadn't done it in a while.

So, after having a baby, I wanted to show her that I was still me, I wasn't just her mom. This was not some 'I'm a cool mom' mean girls thing, at all.

I liked having my purple hair. But it faded and I was pregnant again and didn't want to dye it while I was.

Once Spencer arrived, I would tell him stories in the hospital about his crazy mom and dad. I promised I would go purple for him, just as I had for Kenzie.

After all, his birthstone is amethyst....purple.

So, just shy of the 1mo 'anniversary' if you want to call it that, of him passing away, I went purple again.
