Memories matter

I sleep with 3 things since Spencer passed.

1-the marauders map swaddle that was the 1st thing we wrapped him in.

2-a small star flannel swaddle that was what I held him in at the end.

3-a stuffed bunny w. His name embroidered on its ear. It was supposed to be an Easter gift for Spence, from my sister, but I love having it bc it reminds me other people cared about him and will remember him.

The Marauders Map...for all the adventures he was yet to have.

It is hard to lose a child, but with only 6 weeks, it often feels like we are already clinging to memories. There were so few, but they matter so very much.
